New place

We finally started blogging at the new address:

In the Mood for noodles

Still need lots to do there though, but there is one new post.

Not sure what I will do with this blog yet, but will figure it out.

Introducing a new blogger here....

I was talking to Mr T about how I can't really blog this month because I really need to concentrate on my thesis and asked if he would be a guest blogger for a month and he agreed.

If things go well, I might make him a permanent co-blogger. So we could become a blogging couple like Cindy and Michael at Wheres the beef?

Although I would need to look at changing the title of my blog, something I've been thinking about for a while anyway. I just can't think of any good foodie titles yet.

Hit me with your vegan travel tips

So Mr T and I will have a smallish holiday in Nov-Dec in Hong Kong, London, ATP (Minehead), Brighton (for only a day or two) and Berlin.

We still haven't decided if we will go to Manchester.

If you have any must eats or other tips like cool second hand shops/markets/handmade stuff please share.

Hong Kong is the only place that we are actually familar with.

Also, if you know of any bloggers based in those areas please send me links, I haven't actually come across many London food blogs but I'm sure they exist. I'm hoping to meet up with a couple of veg*n bloggers from those areas too.

It's never been a better time to be an Aussie Vegan

It's so great to be discussing vegan recipes from other Aussies- like Mark Senn at Veginity and the soup for all seasons cookbook (see below) rather than discussing the American ones that I usually talk about.

It's also really awesome to discover more and more Aussie food bloggers. Just in the last couple of days I have discovered Solusta with amazing food pics, fellow cupcake lover Cupcake Kitteh check out the tater tacos and Shimmy Shimmy Coconut who discusses cookie dough centred cupcakes. There is also Vegology who discusses her inspiring competitive running. My list of Aussies vegetarian and vegan bloggers on the right is getting huge. Also, i'm hoping that a few more vegans I know will start blogging, you know who you are. I discovered all of the new ones I mentioned from PPK forum which has a huge Aussie Thread where the amazing brunch idea started.

There's also going to be a new Aussie vegan dessert cookbook coming out soon thanks to Aduki.

Then of course East Brunswick Club which is just a regular meat serving pub has more and more vegan dishes and desserts. I can not wait to try the chocolate and peanut butter 'cheesecake'!

I kind of feel sorry for the non-vegans who miss out on all the fun and the yummy food :-)

Aussie veg*n food bloggers exist

I may not be a food blogger (except for my occasional food post) but I looooove my food and love food porn and veg*n food blogs almost as much. So I am very pleased to be coming across more and more Australian food veg*n blogs. If you know of any other Australian ones please let me know and I will add it to my links on the side.
